How to Easily Match Fabric Colors

One of the hardest things for me personally as a quilter is color matching fabrics. I definitely do not have an eye for this and have always envied those that do! Today, I'm sharing a quick tip that will change your life! Especially if you're on the color matching struggle bus, too!

How to Match Fabrics

Look along the selvage of your fabric. Notice here that there are swatches included that showcase the different colors included in the fabric. I don't know about you...but this information was revolutionary for me!

When beginning a new quilt, I usually reccomend that someone picks one or two of their favorite fabrics and then color match off of that. It makes life so much easier! Obviously this little tip doesn't work so well over the internet unless you have the selvage sitting in front of you and you're shopping for additional fabric online. Hopefully this helps someone else in their shopping!
